Agreement

By using Diemlog (the Android apps and this website), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software or site.

What Diemlog is

Diemlog is a documentation aid for tracking residency and visa-related day counts. It is provided as-is under the PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0 license for the source-available project materials, and under these terms for the distributed apps and website.

Not professional advice

Diemlog is not tax, immigration, or legal advice. Rule engines implement published counting methods to the best of our ability, but laws and edge cases change. You remain responsible for verifying results with qualified professionals and official sources before relying on them for filings, border crossings, or audits.

Your responsibilities

• Keep backups of data that matters to you.
• Provide accurate inputs when you enter or confirm events.
• Use the app only where you have the legal right to do so.
• Do not attempt to circumvent payment or license checks for commercial redistribution of Premium features.

Subscriptions and licenses

• Free includes auto-tracking, one enabled day-count rule (rule engines and stay trackers share the slot; you may change the active rule at most once every 30 days), the basic dashboard, and local encrypted backup. Manual capture is always available.
• Premium unlocks unlimited parallel rule engines and trackers, EXIF backfill, the document vault, and audit exports. It requires a Play Billing purchase (Play variant) or a valid offline license file (Google-free variant).
• Play purchases are also subject to Google Play’s terms. Refunds for Play purchases follow Google’s policies.
• Offline license files may expire; renewal requires a new signed file.

Availability

We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. Pre-release builds may change without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of APK downloads on diemlog.com, Obtainium updates, or future sync hosting.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Diemlog and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the software or reliance on day counts it produces. Our total liability for any claim relating to the apps or site is limited to the amount you paid for Diemlog Premium in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you only used free features.

Content on diemlog.com is informational. Download links point to APKs hosted under /download/files/ on this site and third-party tools such as Obtainium; those projects have their own terms.

Changes

We may revise these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The effective date above will change when we publish updates.
